Description
The beach cottage is fully furnished and comfortable. There is a fridge-freezer, tv, microwave, washing machine, stove, log fire, crockery, cutlery,BBQ, etc. The cottage is 8 minutes drive from Collingwood. Walk across the lawn, down the concrete path between the retaining rocks to the sand, or jump into the sea at high tide. Walk out to gather pipi/cockles or play in the shallows at low tide. The long foreshore ensures a very safe beach. Surrounding trees provide privacy. Listen to the tuis and wake up to the dawn chorus. Totara Lodge is centrally located to enjoy Farewell Spit, Kahurangi National Park, Westhaven Inlet, Rockville Limestone caves, Pupu Freshwater Springs, Mussel Inn cuisane, and many other places of interest and entertainment.
