Tariff

From $150 to $220 depending on time of year for up to six guests. Can accommodate an extra child by arrangement. Premium rate applies from 1 December to April inclusive. Low season June,July,August,Sept. Shoulder May,Oct,Nov. Minimum stay normally four nights during peak periods, two nights at other times. 10% discount on return stays during Shoulder and Low Season in the same year. Watch for special deals.

Description

Stay at WitsEnd and you won't want to leave. A few steps across the road and you can enjoy the golden sand between your toes. Paddle around the Bay on a kayak or sit on the balcony and let the world go by. Fantastic views over the water, a safe sandy beach, 10 minutes drive from Takaka and about 20 to Totaranui at the northern gateway of the Abel Tasman National Park. Cafes, restaurants in nearby Pohara; if you have a boat, you can launch it a few minutes drive away at Tarakohe Harbour.

WitsEnd is well furnished with all the usuals, plus rideon kayaks, mountain bikes for exploring nearby areas; and for family bonding, board and card games to bring out the competitive holiday spirit. Dine out on the balcony overlooking the water or out the back to keep the cook company at the BBQ. Wood burner for cosy winter stays. Ideal for 4-6 guests but can sleep up to 7.
