Description
Quail Cottage is a self contained, open plan, warm and sunny studio in seaside Mapua. With its own garden and sunny deck it overlooks Tasman Bay and Mapua Estuary, and stands alone on our 7 acre property. Quail Cottage contains all the amenities for that special hideaway holiday or longer stay.
Despite the rural setting it is only a 5 minute walk to the village centre with a small supermarket, the Naked Bun Patisserie and The Tap Bar & Restaurant. A 10 minute walk takes you to the Wharf with the well known restaurants The Smokehouse, Apple Shed and Wharfside, and micro-brewery The Golden Bear, or to the Boatshed Cafe & Bar at the Leisure Park.
Mapua is well situated for access to vineyards, potteries, the Abel Tasman National Park, beaches, mountains and rivers. Please note: if using Google's Driving Instructions, please disregard the final "turn into Viewland Place". We are on Higgs Rd, #35 - pink geraniums at the letterbox.

Reviews
“We both loved our week in your lovely cottage – it was the highlight of our trip & very close to everything we wanted to see. I certainly will recommend to my family & friends that a stay in your cottage is a must if they ever go to Nelson.

“A place of rest and revitalization surrounded by the beauty of nature gives deep nurturance to the soul. A perfect spot from which to explore the wonderful array of activities in the Top of the South, and then come home and be embraced with grace.”
