Description

Tokoeka is a five bedroom holiday home on safe swimming beach with beautiful views of Golden Bay. Enjoy walks on the beach, snorkeling on local reef, or kayaking, windsurfing and sailing in the estuary. The famous Mussel Inn is a short drive (or a low tide walk!), Langford's Store and the Naked Possum are close by for great food and coffee. There is fantastic bird life in the estuary and the Aorere gold fields are nearby with good walking, biking and a few specks of gold if you look carefully. There are numerous short walks in Golden Bay and great tramping up Parapara peak, on the Heaphy, Abel Tasman and Kaituna tracks and up the Cobb valley.There are a variety of artists throughout Golden Bay with several potteries and jewellers in Parapara. Farewell spit is nearby with eco-tours, the wild Wharariki beach and horse trekking.
