Description

Fantail Cottage is the ideal year-round retreat for family holidays, quiet breaks (no phone or TV!) or simply a secluded place to be yourself. Riparian Rights ensure exclusive beach access, with neighbours far enough removed to assure total privacy. Set barely 50 metres from the sea, within a private section of a 4ha farmlet, the cottage comprises a large open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen (& walk-in pantry), 3 bedrooms, bathroom/laundry with shower & toilet. Large French doors opening onto a covered veranda with extensive grassy areas & garden pond combine with generous skylights to create a fresh, airy atmosphere indoors. The uncrowded beach is clean & offers safe swimming, so is especially good for children to play. Please note the property has no direct road access, but our firm sand does not normally require a 4x4 to drive the 600m along the beach, though tide cycles must be respected. Takaka & beautiful Golden Bay attractions are all within an easy drive. Cater in your own style, at your own pace, & bask in the peacefulness of relaxed, unsullied beachside country life.
