Description
Te Hapu is remote and private, it starts where the road ends. Miles of spectacular private access coast and 1000 acre farm set amongst stunning limestone landscape, yours to explore. Our Shearing Shed Retreat is situated by itself at the head of a valley and looks out over farmland and native rainforest to limestone bluffs on the skyline. A short walk/drive down the valley (5-10 minutes) to a beautiful sandy beach. The retreat is cosy, comfortable and clean. It has a spacious, open plan, fully equipped, living and kitchen area, an excellent wood range for cooking, heating and hot water, plus gas for cooking, a gas fridge and solar lighting. It has a separate bedroom and bathroom and a huge old fashioned outdoor bath. Extended farm and coastal walks (directions provided) offer panoramic views of the Tasman Sea and Westhaven Inlet. Sandy beaches, luxuriant low tide rock shelf, pancake rocks, swimming, boogie boarding, fishing, snorkelling, rock climbing and caves. Watch the surf, look out for whales, seals and birdlife. Breakfast or barbeque on the veranda while watching the light change in the bluffs. See other listings for 3 accommodation options and our website www.tehapu.co.nz
