Description
This interesting house was started 20 years ago by some of the original 'Hippies' in Golden Bay and has recently been restored and skilfully completed. It is of funky and fun design, all rooms are on different levels and catch the sun and views. The cosy feeling of the wooden interior combined with the indoor/outdoor living and stunning sea- and mountain views make it hard to want to leave this place. Peaceful bush surroundings and the private location invite a feeling of escape from the hustle of daily life. Pure serenity. Watch the ever-changing moods of the sea from the lounge, enjoy the sunsets from the large deck or soak in the ouside hot bath under millions of stars. Wainui beach is one of Golden Bay's finest and is within easy walking distance. There is plenty to explore: Wainui Falls, the beach and coastline, the Pa at Taupo Point or a walk in Abel Tasman National Park. This home is great for family holidays in summer and winter. If you want to enjoy the still winter days in Golden Bay this house catches all winter afternoon sun and is HOT!!
