We invite you to a magical place of astounding beauty and unspoilt wilderness. Westhaven is a private peninsular of 1000 acres, a hidden paradise where you can peacefully restore you physical and mental wellbeing.

Nestles amidst this abundant natural sanctuary, is our lovely cottage. This charming holiday house is perfect for just a couple or for the whole family, with the most fantastic views over the entire Whanganui Inlet. The Cottage is spacious and modern with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a double pull out couch for the kids. Feel at home in the large comfortable lounge with the fire place to keep you cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge and microwave, should you wish to cook. However we also have a reputation for delicous food and would be happy to spoil you with a special 3 course dinner.

Recharge your batteries in beautiful surroundings and stroll along on the endless secluded beaches. The Estuary is a protected reserve and home to many birds and other rare wildlife. We have many visitors here, ranging from seals and dolphins to the very naughty kea. There are many wonderful tracks for you to explore.
