Description
Come and enjoy a slice of history in old Clyde at Historical Hazletts Home - a character stone cottage perfectly positioned in the heart of Clyde's main street just a few steps from the pub and local eateries. The house is the original home of Mr James Hazlett - an early arrival on the Otago gold mining scene, and dates back to the late 1800s. Character features include rustic brick and stone walls, and kauri floors.
A perfect place to unwind before or after your Rail Trail adventure. Families are very welcome.
Relax on the covered veranda and watch the world go by, or use it as a base to explore the wonderful Central Otago region. Close to the Rail Trail, wineries, walks, 10 minutes from Alexandra and less than an hour's drive to Queenstown or Wanaka.
The home features two large bedrooms, open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with flued gas heating), new bathroom and a good sized section for the kids to play or for you soak up the Central sun.
Sleeps a maximum of five people, children most welcome but please no pets.
