Southern scenic route, Catlins side "The Jurassic Coast", near southernmost point of South Island.
Spacious, comfy and welcoming former school house, relocated from historic Fortrose to our garden. We seek to provide you with all the comforts of a home-from-home.
Your own patio and large tree-lined lawn.
Private access across the farm to a long stretch of deserted southern ocean coastline which is lined with ancient rock formations seamed with petrified wood. Birdlife, shells, colourful gravel and native seashore plants make the shoreline a treasure-trove of natural history.
50 km from Invercargill, 5 km from Fortrose- golf course, fishing and boating. Waipapa Lighthouse nearby, with shipwreck stories and sealions.
South Catlins is a great place for a family holiday.
Off-season longstays welcome too.
