“Thank you for an excellent stay at A Bush Retreat. Only 4 minutes from the city, but a world away in atmosphere. We awoke to a tui in the bush right outside the windows, flitting about, checking us out. The bed was beautiful and the covers new & warm and the Platinum linen appreciated. We love a firm bed, which it was, but a cushioned mattress made it more comfortable than our own! Our daughter said the slat sofabed was also comfortable.
The unit was exceptionally clean. Though I do not deliberately look for dirt, that nature of my job is such that I see it if it is there. I saw not even a water-mark or finger-print anywhere. The dainty toiletries were a nice, unexpected touch. But, it was the friendly service that was amazing. As a property manager, I may have been a bit worried to pass a home I looked after to see several extra people sitting around outside (inspired by the BBQ and lawn, we decided to catch up with friends at ‘our place’). But no, Lisa responded by bringing some extra chairs for our guests and an offer of lamb for the BBQ. We were all blown away. We look forward to returning.
