This is the departure point for a number of Fiordland tourist operators, who offer hunting, fishing, tramping and ecology trips, within some of the world`s most stunning scenery of Lake Manapouri, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds.Walk directly from the back garden, through native bush to the banks of the Waiau River, where you can fish, boat or simply take in the tranquil, unspoilt surrounds. The cottage is surrounded by lovely gardens and native trees that attract the native birds all year round.
