A 4 bedroom, 8 single beds, clean house, with mattress/pillow protectors and electric blankets on all beds. Plenty of blankets and pillows available. Full Linen Hire is available if requested. Comfortable sofas and beds. Two new bathrooms, both available when there are more than 6 guests. Plenty of dry firewood for the wood burner. Cell coverage in the house is limited but available just out the gate.
Excellent location for families, huge area around the house, for cricket, mountain biking, walking, flying kites, and in summer a swimming pool is available. Section is fully fenced. Spectacular scenery and recreational activities such as walking, biking, boating, trout and salmon fishing in the lakes, rivers and canals is within easy reach.
Lake Tekapo has the excellent hot pools, roller blading in the summer, and ice skating in the winter. All year round you can experience star gazing up at Mount John. You can be on Skifields which are located in easy reach, Mt Dobson 1.25 hours, Round Hill 1 hour, and Ohau 1.25 hours.
Feed pet sheep, dogs, hens and deer. Farm tours available. Ski tuning offered.
