Description
Guide Hill Station is located 25km from Lake Tekapo, situated overlooking Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook. It is a family run, working high country merino station.
The old homestead is a large 4 bedroom house, with mattress/pillow protectors and electric blankets on all beds. Plenty of blankets and pillows available. Comfortable sofas and beds. Plenty of dry firewood to supply the large wood burner. Cell phone coverage in the house is limited but available just out the gate.
Excellent location for families, who would like to experience a farm, room for cricket, mountain biking, walking, flying kites, and in summer a swimming pool. Section is fully fenced. The spectacular scenery and recreational activities such as walking, biking, boating, trout and salmon fishing in the lakes, rivers and canals is within easy reach.
Lake Tekapo has the excellent hot pools, roller blading in the summer, and ice skating in the winter. All year round you can experience star gazing up at Mount John. You can be on Ski fields which are located in easy reach, Mt Dobson 1.25 hours, Round Hill 1 hour, and Ohau 1.25 hours.
Great location to escape from the stress of life.
