Description

Hike above Lake Tekapo on the Tekapo Trek for grand views across the Mackenzie Basin to the Southern Alps. Or in winter come snowshoeing, nordic skiing or alpine ski touring from the cosy Rex Simpson Hut.

For the ultimate alpine trek try one of our Ball Pass adventures: the Aoraki Mount Cook Trek, the Ball Pass Summit Trek or the Ball Pass Crossing. If you want to get into mountaineering proper then sign up for one of our climbing courses or a guided ascent.
