Waimate Knitwear is a small, family-owned and operated knitwear manufacturing company with generations of experience producing quality knitwear garments. We figure that the 15 member team has a combined experience of over 200 years.
Since 1998, when we opened our factory shop, we have been hosting factory tours for groups (from all over NZ) who visit Waimate, such as: CWI, gardening groups, spinners & weavers, travel clubs, Rotary, Lions, and many more.
It is fascinating to see the many processes and people that are involved in making the garments that you buy.
