Description

Our cottage has a beautiful rural outlook towards the Dunstan Range, and sits near the main farm house of Beggs Creek Station.A lovely family friendly base to explore this stunning area.
The cottage has been renovated inside and out,while maintaining the mudbrick walls in the bedrooms.There are also 2 outdoor sitting areas.

During your stay you are welcome to observe our farming activities or explore the farm at your own pace, as we have great opportunities for mountain biking and walking.We also have dams where you can fish or swim.
As it is a working farm you are expected to be responsible for your own safety at all times.

Locally there are a number of areas where you can fish,swim and kayak.

We are happy to share our knowledge of the gold mining history on and near our property.Or you can explore some of the historic goldmining settlements close by.

The farm is 10kms from Omakau,at the start of the Thomsons Gorge Road.
Omakau has a 4 square supermarket, cafe and hotel where you can get a variety of food. Alexandra and Clyde are a 25min drive.
