Little Wanganui subdivision is a quiet secluded settlement, away from the State Highway and traffic noise. Bordered by rugged West Coast bush on one side and the Little Wanganui River on the other, and 10-15 minutes drive south of Karamea. Our home is situated close to the river and beach. A fully equipped kitchen includes: microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, popcorn maker, toasters and frypan. The home has a shower and bath, gas and electric heaters, washing machine and dryer, and has a great selection of all types of books and magazines and games. All the unique recreational opportunities of the West Coast are close at hand for everyone to enjoy. The Wangapeka and Heaphy tramping tracks are near as is the Kahurangi National Park. Other activities include fishing, hunting, kayaking/canoeing, caving, rafting, whitebaiting, tramping, walks, mountain biking and scenic tours. We recommend you take a trip to see the Oparara Arch, Mirror Tarn, Moira’s Gate and the Honeycomb Caves.

“a great place to stay – fitted three families easily – spacious and plenty of room for different groups to do their thing. helpful owners told us the best places to see and things to do – kids loved the bonfire on the beach”
