Description
'Maggies Cottage' is one of two cottages available in Kumara Township, once a bustling 'Gold Rush' town and home to Richard John Seddon but now famous for the annual 'Kumara Gold Nugget' race meeting and starting point for 'the Coast to Coast'. Greymouth and Hokitika are only 20-25 minutes away and a 1 hour drive takes you to Punakaki Pancake Rocks, around Lake Brunner to Moana or south to Lake Kaniere (both good boating and fishing spots). Cottages are very cosy with woodburner and contain all appliances; TV, stereo, microwave, washing machine , dryer and BBQ. All linen and towels are provided, so just bring yourself.
