Description

Kennedy Homestead is an early 20th century villa situated at the Gateway to the South Westland World Heritage area in the Whataroa valley 7kms from the township.This tranquil farm/bush setting is the ideal 'get away' from the stresses and strains of city living.

The homestead is our family home with an automatic washing, microwave, electric stove,fridge/freezer, barbeque, DVD & CD players.

Whataroa offers great fishing, helicopter flights, a 9-hole golf course, White Heron tours & a Maori art gallery. Only half an hour drive away to either Franz Josef or Okarito you can take a glacier walk, helihike, horse trek, kayak, soak in the hot pools or enjoy one of the many coastal and bush walks.
