“Dear Roy & Lisa,
Thank you for sharing your slice of Paradise with us! Our two weeks here was brilliant…... the walks on the beach, the lazy afternoons on the porch, the cooking in this super kitchen and the peaceful evenings will never be forgotten. The cottage is a perfect retreat from reality, and Kirk and I leave here so rested and content…..
We can see why your cottage is so solidly booked up….perfect hosts…..and perfect accommodation. Kirk and I wish you all the very best and look forward to returning to Sekawa Cottages again. As we say in South Africa, “Mooi Loop” my friends, until we meet again. Kirk and Saskia, September 2011”

Dear Roy & Lisa,
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
How can we express our enjoyment for such a wonderful time? The house is so clean, the yard so green and flowering. Sherry and I loved the river fishing and clues to catch Papio and bait. The boat fishing was such a success, 5 Walu, 1 Kava, and a Scad, 60 lbs in 6 hours with a great snorkel trip in the middle of it all. The taxi and trips to town made Sherry’s day, and of course the Pearls. This is a wonderful base to start and finish adventures, the washer and dryer were so needed, all the comforts of home. All of the above is nothing compared to the friendship you have showed us. Truly the people you meet are what make lifes journey wonderful.

“After booking Sekawa Beach Cottage so long in advance and with such high expectations, would we be disappointed? The answer was immediate and definite, no! The accommodation is extremely comfortable with every modern convenience to make one’s stay very pleasant. The fans made us feel cool even on the hottest of days. The cottage is very spacious and there is ample room for four people to sleep. Full mesh screening meant no insects indoors. A full kitchen meant that we could prepare the exotic foods bought at the market in Savusavu. There are dining tables both inside and outside on the verandah. Views from both locations are superb. A real bonus was the washer and dryer. All in all this is a very easy house in which to live. The cottage is situated in lush green vegetation. The flora and fauna are fascinating and plentiful. It is an easy walk to the beach. The sunsets are all beautiful but different each day. Savusavu may be reached by taxi or local bus. We only used the bus which was fun, exciting and crowded. The local people are very, very friendly and only too keen to help when necessary. The town is small but has all that one wishes tostock up the larder and everyday goods are available. Lisa and Roy are perfect hosts. They are always available to assist if needed but leave the guests alone to enjoy the area in privacy if desired. Both Lisa and Roy are a mine of information about the local area. A visit to the nearby village can easily be arranged. Vatu, Lisa and Roy’s dog deserves a mention. He is friendly and loves to eat. He eats just about anything! We liked it all so much we have booked another month later this year and four months in 2011-2012.
